This is another recipe from my mom. It is very similar to Monkey Bread, but I think it's much better. We have this every Christmas morning and I look forward to it all year. It is just melt in your mouth delicious! We nibble on the leftovers all day long. Well, until lunch and then it's usually all gone-haha! It's so sweet, gooey and just so divine!

Breakfast Pull Apart Bread
Ingredients:24 Rhodes Frozen Dinner Rolls
1 large box of cook & serve vanilla pudding
1 cup brown sugar
pinch of cinnamon
pinch of nutmeg
1 stick butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions:
The night before you plan to serve these, spray a bundt pan with cooking spray and place rolls in pan. Mix brown sugar and dry pudding mix together. Add cinnamon and nutmeg to pudding/brown sugar mixture. Sprinkle pudding mix over rolls. Sprinkle rolls with pecans and drizzle butter over top of rolls. Cover with a warm moist kitchen towel & leave on counter overnight.
In the morning preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place bundt pan on cookie sheet in case of spillage. Bake for 25-30 minutes. Being careful not to burn yourself, invert bundt pan onto serving plate and serve warm.

That looks delicious!
ReplyDeleteThese almost look better than cinnamon rolls (and I really love cinnamon rolls)! Yum!
ReplyDeleteThis looks great!! Yet another reason for me to get a bundt pan...
ReplyDeletemmmm that looks scrumptious!!
ReplyDeletehappy new year!
a lot of food blogger do a similar new years round up like i did, i think most do a month by month round up with their favorite recipes from each month but i did it by category just b/c that's what i did last year... last year i only had 3 months so it didn't make as much sense to do a monthly one.
These look delicious... and I'm craving a taste!
ReplyDeleteYum - I love the pudding addition! BTW - that candle in the hurricane vase in your background is so cute! Are those cranberries and oranges in there?
ReplyDeleteColleen-sorry for the late reply I just saw your comment. Those are cranberries and slices of orange. It's super easy to do. Just place the orange slices around the edges and then fill with cranberries and fill with water. We also put a candle in the center but it would be great either way.
