Nutella, where have you been all my life?!?! Wow! I can't believe I've waited this long to try nutella. I've always wanted to try it, but didn't want to buy an entire container in case I didn't like it. Well, at the grocery store recently they were giving out samples of nutella on strawberries. Mouth watering goodness, I tell you! If you haven't tried it, go buy some today! It's so good on fruit, graham crackers and lots of other things!
I had come across this great cookie recipe using nutella on Sugar & Spice and now I could try it because I finally had nutella! I made these for Adam's work tailgate party and just as I was taking them out of the oven to cool, he called to inform me that he had gotten the dates mixed up and it isn't until this Friday! Oh well, his coworkers got to enjoy them anyway. He said everyone really loved them. Plus now I get to make a different kind of cookie this week! I'm excited:) I always love an excuse to bake! These cookies were rich and & chewy. Perfect cookie texture & a great way to mix up the traditional chocolate chip cookie.

Using a small cookie scoop, scoop out dough balls & place on baking sheet 2 inches apart. Bake for 9-11 minutes. Allow cookies to cool on baking sheet about 2 minutes until set and then transfer to cooling racks to cool completely. Eat immediately or store in a airtight container. Enjoy!
OMG...Nutella is like food of the gods. It's soooo freaking good. I don't know if you watched The Great Food Truck Race - but Crepes Bonaparte (it's local in my area) is running a contest of who can entire an entire tub of Nutella. I think it's hilarious, but there are some NUTTY fans out there for Nutella. So glad you finally joined the club! Looks delicious Steph!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried nutella yet either.. I'll have to try it! I see it everywhere.
ReplyDeleteI bought some nutella a couple weeks ago for a special request for nutella cupcakes. Now it's sitting in my pantry and I need something to do with it! I don't doubt that it's delicious with fruit, oatmeal, or heck, a spoon. But... what can I say, its not exactly responsible eating! (healthwise.) I think putting it in some cookies and sharing them at work would be a great idea :) thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe first time I tried nutella, I felt the same way. I couldn't believe it had taken me so long to find it.
