Strawberry on Top

Hope everyone has had a great week! I've decided to try and start sharing some of the behind the scenes of my personal life with you all. That way we can get to know each other better. Let me know what you think. If you'd rather not know, just skip ahead to the food:) I'm titling all these posts "Strawberry on Top" because that's what we like on top of our cheesecake and it's just that little something extra for the blog. I'm hoping these will be at least an every other week post and sometimes every week if we have a lot going on. I'll also post a link to some other posts that I've bookmarked that week from other blogs that I love. So here goes...

Life has been INSANE this month of May, in a great way. First we had the tornadoes and were blessed to be able to help a lot with disaster relief. The week after the tornadoes, God blessed us by selling our house after a very long year and 10 months on the market!! Praise the Lord!! We are supposed to close very soon and everything is on track (fingers crossed!). So the past couple of weeks have been full of the most massive yard sale ever (we are downsizing so we sold a TON of stuff) and packing boxes. Also work has been crazy too. All of these good things, but makes for little sleep:) We are so excited about moving and once we get settled I'll post some pics of where we are moving to. So that's one reason I've not posted as much as I would like this month. I do have some things in the "hopper" ready to go for the next several weeks though so you won't be left out in the cold!:) Have any of you downsized? What was the hardest part? Have a great rest of the week and coming soon with Homemade Hamburger Buns!

Things I've bookmarked recently:

Ultimate Cinnamon Buns from Tracey's Culinary Adventures

Cookies & Cream Cheesecake Bars from How Sweet It Is

Honey Graham Crackers from Confections of a Foodie Bride
