Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

I apologize for my lack of posts this week (and for the crummy picture). I have been under the weather. And what's better when you aren't feeling good than Chicken Noodle Soup? I had all the stuff to make this, but did not feel like cooking at all, so my mom called and said that she was making me some and brought it over. This is a recipe that my mom got from one of her friends. It is so good, and it warms you up from the inside out. It's much better than any soup you will get in a can.

Homemade Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients:
2 cans white chunk chicken, shredded
1 bag whole wheat egg noodles
1 can sliced carrots, cut carrots in half
12 cubes chicken bouillon, plus 8 cups of water
2 cans low sodium chicken broth
1-2 tbsp. parsley

Directions:
Place broth, chicken, parsley, water, & bouillon cubes in a large pot. Bring to boil. Let simmer for 15 minutes. Add carrots and noodles and simmer until noodles are cooked, about 7 minutes or so. Serve with crackers.
