Urban Stack in Chattanooga, TN

Adam turned the big 3-1 on Monday and we love to not just celebrate on the day, but have an entire "Birthday Weekend." Last year we went to Atlanta and went to the zoo & aquarium so this year we decided to be more low key and stay closer to home. We spent a fabulous day outside on Saturday enjoying the gorgeous weather and then watching the Final Four (unfortunately my KY Wildcats lost, but they had a great run!).

Sunday we went to Chattanooga and ate at a new restaurant owned by my friends that own Taco Mamacita. Their new venture, Urban Stack is a gourmet burger restaurant in downtown Chattanooga and it's fabulous! They have probably 20 different burgers and you can also sub out the meat with chicken or they have vegan and vegetarian options too.

I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak burger and Adam had the Hamburgeusa Mamacita and they were both phenomonal! The Philly Cheese Steak has onions, mushrooms & a cheery pepper relish with provolone cheese. The Hamburguesa Mamacita was topped with chorizo, avocado, jalapeno & fiesta cheese. The burgers themselves were so juicy and flavorful too!

They also use fresh made buns from a local bakery. I had mine with sweet potato fries & Adam had the shoe string fries and they had a great chipotle ketchup to dip them in. I can't wait to go back and try one of their other burger flavors!

  2. I can't wait to try out Urban Stack. So far our favorite burgers in Chattanooga are at The Terminal.

  5. If you go to The Terminal and the weather is nice, be sure to request to sit in their Beer Garden. It is outdoor dining on the second floor above the kitchen.
